Mission Honor Is a grassroots effort to create a national campaign to honor veterans at the high school level.
Most veterans joined the service out of Most veterans joined the service out of high school. It is the scene of their roots and holds a special place in their hearts and memories. There couldn’t be a better setting to show the gratitude and respect for these individuals.
High schools often honor their War Dead, but not their veterans. Mission honor seeks to honor all the school's heroes. Veteran become a heroes when they serve the country. It isn't is their ultimate sacrifice in which they become heroes, but the service itself.
There is strength in numbers. Individualized school programs do not have the same impact as one that is coordinated with the other projects across the country. The branded program shows a harmonized effort and creates a greater awareness for the need to honor our veterans.
